Aunt Sue'S Baked Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef stew meat, cubed
    6 carrots, cut in chunks
    3 stalks celery, cut on slant
    6 potatoes, cut in 1/4 inch pieces
    3 small onions
    2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca or cornstarch
    1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in 9 x 13-inch pan (Pyrex or Corning) and cover with foil (over and under) so no steam escapes.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 4 hours.
