Mammie Hicks' Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 dozen red peppers
    3 large onions
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 qt. white vinegar
    1 dozen green peppers
    1 hot pepper
    1 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Grind peppers and onions together and put into boiling water for 20 minutes.
    Drain thoroughly and then pour boiling water over again and let boil 15 minutes.
    Drain well.
    Then add salt, brown sugar and vinegar.
    Boil 10 minutes and can while hot.
