Corn Fritters With Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 (12 oz.) can while kernel corn, drained
    vegetable oil
    honey
Preparation
    Beat egg until light; add milk and melted butter.
    Sift the flours, baking powder, salt and sugar together.
    Add to egg mixture.
    Add the drained corn; mix well.
    Refrigerate batter for at least 2 hours.
    Drop by tablespoon into deep hot fat (375\u00b0) and fry 3 to 5 minutes.
    Fry only 4 or 5 fritters at a time.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Serve with warm honey.
