Beef And Vegetable Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs. beef, cut into 1 - inch pieces
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 lb. mushrooms, halved or quartered
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 can (14.5 oz.) beef broth
    Salt and black pepper
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. instant baking mix
    2 T. chopped chives
    Sesame and poppy seeds
    1 pkg. (1 lb.) frozen vegetables
    1 large tomato, diced
Preparation
    Toss meat in flour until coated; reserve leftover flour. Heat oil in a heavy pot over medium heat; brown meat, a few pieces at a time.
    Add mushrooms and garlic; cook, stirring constantly, about 1 minute.
    Stir in reserved flour and beef broth.
    Bring to a boil; cover and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
