Tawain Shredded Beef And Onion - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, cut 1/8 inch thick
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. chopped onions
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut steak into matchlike pieces.
    Toss with cornstarch and 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
    Heat 4 tablespoons oil in skillet and add the onions and salt.
    Saute 3 minutes.
    Remove the onions.
    Heat the remaining oil in the skillet.
    Saute meat until lightly browned.
    Mix in onions, remaining soy sauce and pepper, stirring well, for 1 minute.
    Serves 4 to 6.
