Fried Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 ears fresh corn
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. bacon grease
sugar, salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Over a big bowl, cut the kernels off the ears of corn.
Gently scrape the knife against the cobs to get the milky liquid to drip into bowl.
Melt butter and bacon grease over medium heat in large skillet (cast-iron is best).
Stir in corn.
Simmer 8 to 10 minutes until tender.
Stir frequently.
If corn seems to be drying out, add a bit of hot water to keep it moist.
Makes 4 servings.
