Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 egg, well beaten
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend all ingredients in mixing bowl until dough can be handled with hands.
    Form into one long roll.
    Wrap in plastic. Chill overnight.
