Frosty Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 or 9-inch) baked pastry shell, cooled
1 (3 oz) pkg strawberry Jello
1 pkg gelatin
1 1/4 c boiling water
1 pt vanilla ice cream
1 to 1 1/2 c sliced strawberries, fresh or frozen (10 oz)
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Gradually add ice cream, stirring until melted.
Chill until thickened, but not set.
Fold in strawberries.
Pour into pastry shell.
Chill until firm. Garnish with whipped cream or Cool Whip and additional fruit, if desired.
