Freezer Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. cabbage (after chopped)
1 1/4 c. white vinegar
1 Tbsp. mustard seed
1 bell pepper, grated
1 stem celery
4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 carrot
1 1/4 Tbsp. salt
Preparation

Grate cabbage.
Salt to taste and let stand 1 hour.
Add celery, bell pepper and carrots.
Let stand 20 minutes.
Boil sugar, vinegar and seeds until dissolved.
Drain first liquid off cabbage and pour second liquid over.
Let stand until cool, then freeze.
