Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. rolled oats
    1 yeast cake
    1 Tbsp. lard
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oatmeal.
    Cover and let cool.
    Add dissolved yeast and sugar.
    Add 1 cup flour, beat then raise an hour.
    Add flour for dough then salt.
    Let rise double; 1 1/2 hours.
    Mold, raise an hour.
    Bake 45 minutes in a hot oven.
