Au Gratin Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1/8 c. flour
    salt
    pepper
    3/4 c. milk
    8 slices American cheese
    1/2 stick butter, sliced
Preparation
    Mix together salt, pepper and flour and season to taste. Grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Layer potatoes, sprinkling each layer with flour.
    At the middle, put a layer of cheese (3 to 4 slices) and slices of butter.
    Then continue layering the potatoes and flour.
    Pour milk over the entire dish.
    Spread out left butter slices across top.
    Cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour. Top with remaining cheese slices; return to oven for 10 minutes. Serve with pork chops or chicken.
