Rhubarb Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 lb. rhubarb
2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 c. granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 egg
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix brown sugar and 3 tablespoons butter together.
Put in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Cover with the rhubarb which has been cut into small pieces.
Mix the rest of the ingredients as for a plain butter cake.
Pour batter over rhubarb and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
Serve warm with hard sauce or whipped cream.
