Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    4 sq. semi-sweet chocolate, melted
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 large can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Mix sugar and salt together.
    Melt butter over hot water.
    Add chocolate.
    Add sugar gradually and stir.
    Slowly stir in milk. Cook about 15
    minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Put in jar and refrigerate.
