Sweet And Sour Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1 green pepper, cut in strips
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    4 pork chops (1-inch thick)
    1 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Coat chops in flour and salt mixture; brown chops in bacon drippings.
    Drain mushrooms; save liquid.
    Add enough water to liquid to make 1 cup.
    (If mushrooms are not used, 1 cup of plain water can be used.)
    Add molasses, vinegar and soy sauce to liquid or water; mix well.
    Lay pepper, onion and mushrooms over chops. Pour mixed liquid over chops; simmer on low heat until chops are soft, about 45 to 55 minutes.
