Carrot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. carrots
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 bell pepper, sliced
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Wash, scrape and slice carrots into pan with lid.
    Add small amount of water and cook until just tender-crisp.
    Drain.
    Add 1/4 cup each of vinegar, sugar and oil.
    Salt to taste.
    If needed to cover carrots, you may add equal amounts of vinegar, sugar and oil.
    Chill before serving.
