Apple Pie Filling For Canning - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
10 c. water
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
5 1/2 to 6 lb. apples, peeled, cored and sliced
Preparation

In large pan, blend first 4 ingredients.
Add 1 teaspoon salt. Stir in 10 cups water.
Boil until thick and bubbly.
Add lemon juice.
