Turnips With Corn Dodgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. turnips
    1/2 lb. pork ribs
    2 c. cornmeal
Preparation
    Cook turnips with pork in 2 quarts water.
    Cook until meat and turnips are good and tender.
    Mix cornmeal.
    Let it be where you can pat out in round patties.
    Drop in boiling turnips; do not stir.
    Just push around with spoon.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
