Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 ripe bananas, mashed
pinch of salt
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. flour
1/2 c. sour milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix sugar, shortening and eggs together.
Add flour and salt to mixture.
Mix well.
Add mashed bananas.
Add soda to sour milk and stir.
Add milk to mixture; stir well.
Add nuts.
Pour mixture into well-greased and lightly floured loaf pans.
Bake in a 275\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Makes 2 loaves.
