Cornbread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pan cooked plain cornbread
6 to 8 slices light bread
2 to 3 ribs celery, chopped
boiling hot broth (if using turkey broth, may add water)
2 Tbsp. sage
salt and pepper to taste
1 onion, chopped
Preparation

Crumble cornbread in large bowl or Dutch oven pot.
Add bread torn into small pieces.
Add onion, celery, sage, salt and pepper. Pour hot broth on top (enough to make mixture very moist and wet).
Completely saturate.
Use potato masher and mash well. Cover with a lid.
Let steam 15 minutes.
Mash again.
Put in baking pan and bake at 400\u00b0 approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown.
