Beef And Cabbage Casserole(The Working Woman'S Cabbage Rolls) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head cabbage
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper
    1 small onion, minced
    1/3 c. rice (uncooked)
    1 can tomato soup
    1 soup can water
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
    6 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano (optional)
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook sausage until browned.
    Drain and set aside.
    Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles.
    Place with long points toward center in a greased 12-inch pizza pan.
    Press on bottom and sides to form a crust, sealing perforations.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 minutes on lower oven rack.
    Crust will be puffy.
    Remove from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0.
    Spoon sausage over dough; sprinkle with cheeses.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over sausage mixture.
    Bake on lower oven rack for 30 to 35 minutes. Yield:
    6 to 8 servings.
