Vegetable Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 large onions (4 c.)
    1 medium head cabbage (4 c.)
    10 green tomatoes (4 c.)
    12 green peppers (5 c.)
    6 red peppers (1 1/2 c.)
    6 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
    4 c. cider vinegar
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine
    sugar,
    mustard
    seed,
    celery seed, turmeric, cider vinegar
    and water.
    Put on stove and bring to boil the vinegar, sugar
    and\tspices, then add the drained vegetables. Bring\tback to\tboil and boil gently 10 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal. Yield:
    approximately 9 pints.
