Zucchini-Sour Cream Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium zucchini
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. + 3 Tbsp. sharp cheese, grated (divided)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg yolk, beaten
    1/2 onion, finely chopped
    3/4 c. bread crumbs, buttered
Preparation
    Slice zucchini horizontally; simmer, covered, in small amount of water for 6 to 8 minutes.
    Drain well.
    Combine sour cream, butter, 3 tablespoonfuls cheese and salt.
    Stir over hot water in double boiler until cheese melts.
    Stir in egg yolk and onion.
    Add all this to zucchini; turn into buttered 3-quart casserole. Sprinkle top with buttered bread crumbs and 1/2 cup cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
