Stuffed Pasta Shells - cooking recipe

20 jumbo pasta shells
1 large egg
2 c small curd cottage cheese
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
3 1/2 oz. finely chopped ham (3/4 c.)
1/2 c. finely chopped pepperoni
2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
3 c. meatless spaghetti sauce
Preparation

Cook shells in boiling water according to package directions. Drain.
Meanwhile, beat egg in a bowl.
Stir in cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, ham, pepperoni, garlic salt and pepper.
Spread 1 cup spaghetti sauce in bottom of a 11 1/2 x 7 3/4-inch microwave-safe baking dish.
Now spoon about 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese mixture into each shell.
Arrange in baking dish in a single layer.
Top with remaining sauce and Mozzarella cheese. Cover and microwave 10 to 12 minutes on High, rotating dish 1/4 turn 3 times until bubbly.
