Creamy Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. milk
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 large eggs
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. long grain rice, uncooked
    3 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine milk, margarine and sugar in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add rice and simmer 45 minutes or until mixture starts to thicken.
    Beat egg in a measuring cup and add enough water to make 1 cup.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Stir eggs and water rapidly into rice mixture.
    Add raisins, if desired.
    Pour in square dish, sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Chill until ready to serve.
