Hot Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks unsalted butter
    1 c. water
    8 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    2 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a double boiler, melt the butter in water. Add chocolate, sugar, corn syrup and salt. Cook 5 minutes. Add vanilla. Remove from heat.
    Makes excellent ice cream topping.
