Easy Opera Fudge(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 (3 or 3 1/4 oz.) pkg. regular vanilla pudding
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. sifted powdered sugar (about 4 3/4 c.)
    1/3 c. nuts or candied cherries, chopped
Preparation
    In 2-quart glass bowl, micro-melt the butter about 1 minute. Stir in dry mix and milk.
    Micro-cook, uncovered, until boiling, about 3 minutes; stir occasionally.
    Cook 1 minute more, stirring every 15 seconds.
    Add vanilla.
    Beat in sugar; stir in nuts or cherries.
