Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. dates
2 c. sugar
2 c. boiling water
5 Tbsp. butter
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. nuts
1 c. mixed fruit
Preparation
-
Simmer first 5 ingredients for 20 minutes.
Mix some of your flour with the mixed fruit and nuts to keep them from sticking together.
Combine.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
Makes 5 pounds.
