Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted cake flour
3 c. sugar
18 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt (heaping)
2 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Sift flour, sugar and salt together as many as 8 times.
Beat whites until stiff and sprinkle in cream of tartar.
Add ingredients, tablespoonful at one time, if using electric mixer. Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 60 minutes in ungreased tube pan.
Cool cake in pan for 1 hour inverted over a bottle.
Then remove and peel outer layer before frosting.
