Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. unsalted dry roasted peanuts
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup and salt in 8 cup glass measure or bowl.
    Microwave on High for 5 minutes.
    Stir in peanuts. Microwave 2 to 6 minutes or until syrup and peanuts are light brown, stirring every 2 minutes.
    Add butter, vanilla and then baking soda.
    Stir until light and foamy.
    Working quickly, spread 1/4 inch thick on buttered cookie sheet.
    Let stand until cool, 40 to 60 minutes.
    Break into pieces.
    Store in airtight container in a cool place.
