Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. ice water
1/2 c. Cremora powder
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. butter or margarine
6 c. sliced, pared apples (1/2-inch thick)
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine 1 1/4 cups flour and 1 teaspoon salt in bowl.
Cut in shortening until crumbly.
Add cheese.
Sprinkle water on top. Shape into ball.
Roll into 15-inch circle on floured surface. Place on 13-inch pizza pan.
Turn up edge to form rim.
Combine Cremora powder, brown sugar, sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Mix well.
Sprinkle half of mixture over pastry.
Cut butter into remaining half until crumbly; set aside.
