Harvest Cake(In Honor Of James Wilson) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. cooked pinto beans, mashed
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    2 c. diced raw apples
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and beans.
    Sift dry ingredients together; add to mixture.
    Add apples, raisins, nuts and vanilla.
    Pour into 9 x 12 x 2-inch baking pan or dish and bake at 375\u00b0
    (I prefer 350\u00b0) for 45 minutes (more or less), or until tests done.
    Remove from oven and cool and frost with a cream cheese icing.
