Aunt Fanny'S Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. yellow squash
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. cracker meal or bread crumbs
    2 eggs
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Boil squash until tender; drain thoroughly, then mash.
    Melt butter.
    Pour mixture in baking dish, then spread melted butter over top and sprinkle with cracker meal or bread crumbs.
    Bake in 370\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
