Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
3 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. granulated sugar
Preparation

Knead the flour into softened butter; then knead the sugar into flour mixture.
Press firmly into a well greased 8 inch square pan.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 325\u00b0 or until delicate brown.
Cut into squares while still hot; return to oven to dry edges.
Let cool.
