Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cooked, diced carrots
1 c. cooked, diced potato
1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. bacon fat
cooked crumbled bacon
1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn
1 can mushroom soup
2 c. milk
1 c. pepper (optional)
1 c. celery (optional)
margarine, Cheddar cheese and paprika as toppings
Preparation

Cook bacon; set aside.
Cook onion (and celery and pepper) in bacon fat.
Combine corn, milk and soup.
Stir in all the vegetables.
Heat, but do not boil.
Before serving, stir in bacon and top with margarine and shredded cheese.
Sprinkle with paprika.
