Orange Frosted-Carrot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. finely shredded carrots
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Mix flour,
    baking
    powder
    and
    salt;\tset aside. Beat butter, sugar,
    eggs
    and
    vanilla until fluffy.
    Stir in carrots, nuts
    and
    flour
    mixture just until blended.
    Spread in greased 13 x
    9
    x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake on center rack in preheated 350\u00b0
    oven\tfor 30 minutes.
    Cool slightly in pan on rack, then spread
    Orange Frosting over top.
    Cool completely and cut in 48 bars or smaller squares.
