Tailgate Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 can small peas
    1 can whole kernel corn
    1 c. green beans (kitchen cut)
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. diced celery
    1 jar pimento (optional)
Preparation
    Bring the sugar, oil and vinegar to a boil.
    Pour over the vegetables.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Keeps up to 3 weeks in refrigerator.
