Liver And Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. liver (1/2 to 3/4-inch thick)
    2 to 3 large onions
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 to 2 (16 oz.) cans sweet peas (drain 1/2 juice)
    1 to 2 c. Rose or white wine
Preparation
    Cut liver in strips and lightly flour.
    Slice onions.
    Saute onions in butter or margarine until soft.
    Remove from skillet and put aside.
    Brown liver on both sides.
    Add 1 to 2 cups of wine and let simmer on low to medium heat until tender.
    Add peas and cooked onions and cook another 10 minutes.
