Baked Shrimp In Cream Wine Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
2 c. heavy cream
1 oz. white wine
salt and cayenne pepper to taste
1/4 c. chopped onions
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. parsley for garnish
paprika for garnish
2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

In heavy pot, melt 1/4 pound butter and saute all seasonings until done, 5 minutes.
Add flour and blend well.
Add cream, stirring constantly, until thick.
Season to taste.
Add wine.
In a separate saute pan, saute shrimp in 1/2 cup butter and garlic until done.
Remove shrimp and drain well.
Place shrimp in a layer in a heavy casserole dish.
Top with wine sauce and Parmesan cheese.
Bake until bubbly.
May also serve over pasta.
