Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium apples
    1 c. apple cider
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spices
    1/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Quarter and core apples but do not peel.
    In a 3-quart glass bowl, combine apples and cider.
    Microwave on High 8 to 10 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes until apples are soft.
    Transfer to blender.
    Blend until smooth.
    Return to glass bowl.
    Combine with sugar and spices.
    Microwave on High 10 to 12 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes until mixture thickens.
    Store in jars.
