Old Mexican Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 to 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown stew meat in oil; add onion and cook until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients and water.
    Stir, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally.
    Serves 4.
