Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 1/2 c. pears
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
    1 large can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Peel, core and cut pears in French fry size.
    Place in a large pot.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook to a preserve state.
