Colcannon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, coarsely shredded
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into eighths
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook cabbage, covered, in a small amount of boiling salted water 5 to 7 minutes or until tender.
    Drain and set cabbage aside.
    Cook potatoes in boiling salted water to cover 15 minutes or until tender.
    Drain and mash.
    Add butter and next 3 ingredients; mix well.
    Add cabbage, stirring well.
    Serve immediately.
