Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh yellow squash
    1 carrot, shredded
    1 (8 oz.) sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 pkg. herb stuffing mix
Preparation
    Slice squash and cook just tender, taking care not to overcook. Combine soup, sour cream, squash and carrot.
    Melt butter and mix with stuffing mix.
    In a large buttered casserole dish, layer stuffing and squash mixture, repeating layers and ending with stuffing mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
