Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
3 Tbsp. sugar
5 c. self-rising flour
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. soda
1 yeast cake, softened in 1/2 to 1 c. warm water
Preparation

Cut shortening and sugar into flour.
Add other ingredients and stir well.
Can be used immediately or refrigerated and used as needed.
Roll and cut as biscuits.
Cook in moderate oven until done.
