Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 1/2 oz. chocolate, melted
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, salt and cream of tartar in bowl.
    Add milk, vanilla and shortening.
    Mix.
    Add melted chocolate, then mix.
    Add eggs and beat 2 minutes, then add baking soda and water; beat for 1 minute.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
