**Frozen Candied Fruit Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1 egg
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. whole candied cherries
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped candied fruit or citron (optional)
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar, beat in the egg.
    Stir in dry ingredients.
    Blend in pecans, fruit and cherries.
    Form in rolls 2 inches in diameter.
    Wrap in Saran Wrap; freeze.
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Slice very thinly.
    Place on greased baking sheet.
    Bake 6 to 8 minutes.
    Yields about 10 dozen.
