Cheese Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 slices thin firm white bread
    1 c. sharp shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. butter
    6 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Remove crusts; cube bread. Butter a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish. Put a layer of bread, then cheese; repeat.
    Melt butter and cool. Beat eggs, milk, salt and cooled butter.
    Pour over bread and cheese.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
