Cranberry Cheese Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. nuts or Cheddar cheese, grated
    juice of 1 orange plus 2 Tbsp. Crisco, add boiling water to make 3/4 c. liquid
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. raw cranberries, cut in half
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients, add cranberries, cheese or nuts, egg and juice/Crisco/water mix.
    Stir and spoon into 1 loaf pan or 3 small loaf pans.
    Large loaf bakes at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes; 3 small loaves bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    This makes a great holiday bread.
