Fudge Sundae Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 box vanilla wafers
    1 qt. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Stir over medium heat, the marshmallows, milk, chocolate chips and salt until mixture has melted and is thick.
    Remove from heat and cool thoroughly.
    Line bottom and sides of 9-inch pie pan with wafers.
    Crumble wafers to fill spaces.
    Spoon half of ice cream over wafers.
    Cover with half of the sauce.
    Repeat again. Sprinkle nuts over top, wrap in foil and place in freezer until ready to serve.
