Mini Ritz Crackers Snack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 boxes plain mini Ritz crackers
    1 large jar dry roasted peanuts
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    pecans may be added
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
    Combine crackers and nuts.
    Grease large pan.
    Cook oleo, sugar and corn syrup for about 5 minutes (slow boil).
    Remove from heat; add vanilla and soda.
    Stir.
    Pour mixture over crackers and nuts.
    Spread in greased pan.
    Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Pour out on wax paper and break apart.
    Cool before storing.
